COMMERCIAL - Ashland University Chapel
The center hands represented marriage, praying, female hands, and the African American Building faith is represented with the stairs and fellowship in numbers with the three figures around the Holy Trinity symbol. The dove represents the Holy Spirit and the heavens parted when Jesus was baptized represented by the cross. The side torches represent witnessing to Christianity. The hands holding the world brings out the world ministries of the university. Because of the symbolism of the circle and the circular movement throughout, my title for the work is “Life Eternal”.
